EZPOS is a cloud-based Point of Sale software system that helps business owners manage sales, inventory, employees and reports. You can monitor and manage your business remotely using your smartphone or computer.

EZPOS costs R2,500 per year, per shop, for the software licence only.

No. EZPOS operates on an annual subscription. You pay once per year for each shop.

No. The R2,500 annual subscription covers the software only. POS hardware is sold separately by Denny Express.

You can connect unlimited POS machines within one registered shop, subject to hardware compatibility.

EZPOS supports unlimited users. You can create individual cashier, supervisor and administrator accounts with different permissions.

You can add unlimited products to your inventory.

EZPOS is suitable for spaza shops, supermarkets, liquor stores, butcheries, wholesalers, hardware stores, clothing shops and takeaway businesses. It does not currently support full-service restaurants or table management. Car-wash management features are planned; confirm availability before purchasing specifically for these features.

EZPOS is designed to work both online and offline. Transactions can continue offline, with data synchronising to the cloud once the internet connection is restored.

Yes. EZPOS supports compatible Android POS machines and devices.

You can use your smartphone to access supported cloud management functions, including viewing reports, managing products and monitoring stock.

Yes. EZPOS supports compatible receipt printers, including 58mm and 80mm printers, built-in POS printers and supported Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and network printers.

Yes. Compatible barcode scanners can be used to scan products during sales.

Yes. EZPOS supports multiple business locations. Each shop requires its own annual software licence.

Yes. You can add new products, change selling prices and update stock remotely from your smartphone.

Yes. You can view stock information and manage inventory remotely.

Yes. EZPOS supports remote stocktaking and inventory management.

Yes. EZPOS supports multiple selling prices and price books, including normal retail, wholesale and delivery-platform pricing.

Yes. EZPOS supports bulk product imports using compatible CSV or Excel templates.

Yes. You can generate product sales reports to identify your best-selling and slow-moving products.

Yes. You can view sales reports and manage supported business operations from your smartphone or computer.

You can restrict cancellation and void permissions to supervisors or administrators.

Yes. EZPOS supports remote management of void and cancellation requests, subject to configured permissions.

Yes. You can control who is allowed to issue refunds, change prices, open the cash drawer, view reports, cancel transactions and perform other sensitive functions.

Yes. Cashiers can perform end-of-shift cash-ups, with reports showing recorded transactions and payment information.

Yes. Cash-in and cash-out transactions can be recorded with reasons for improved accountability.

EZPOS helps reduce opportunities for unauthorised activity through user permissions, transaction records, void reporting and stock controls. It cannot guarantee that theft will never happen.

Yes. EZPOS can record different payment methods, including cash and card transactions. Actual card processing requires a compatible payment terminal or supported integration.

Yes. You can create lay-by transactions, collect payments and track outstanding balances.

Yes. EZPOS supports customer account sales and outstanding balance tracking.

Yes. Authorised employees can process refunds, exchanges and returns, subject to their permissions.

Yes. Cashback transactions can be recorded and reflected in the cash drawer and shift reports.

EZPOS supports delivery-related sales and tracking, including driver accounts and payment collection records.

Yes. You can monitor sales remotely through the EZPOS cloud management system.

EZPOS supports reports covering sales, stock, product performance, profit, payment methods, cashier activity, refunds, voids, lay-bys and customer accounts.

Yes. By entering accurate purchase costs and selling prices, you can generate reports showing product costs, sales and estimated gross profit.

Yes. You can view daily, weekly, monthly and yearly sales reports.

Yes. Transactions can be associated with individual user accounts for monitoring and reporting.

EZPOS is designed for takeaway shops and retail businesses only. It is suitable for spaza shops, supermarkets, liquor stores, butcheries, wholesalers, hardware stores, clothing shops and takeaway businesses. Please note: EZPOS does not currently support full-service restaurants or table management.

EZPOS has car-wash management features planned, including customer vehicle records and loyalty rewards. Confirm availability before purchasing specifically for these features.

Yes. Different price books can be configured for different customer types.

Multi-branch stock management is part of the intended EZPOS functionality. Confirm whether interbranch stock transfers are available in your software version.

Your software licence will need to be renewed to continue receiving the annual subscription benefits. Confirm the renewal and data-access terms before expiry.
